Defeating Child Pornography

October 26th, 2006 by Sarah King

I’m no fan of pornography but I accept that people do get their kicks from it. To each his own…

However abusive pornography and anything involving kids should be a no-brainer. However the stats link adult pornographers with child pornography and that’s sickening.

So this little post is to provide links to RACE4INNOCENCE and Light a Million Candles.

Make a visit and remember that even if you like porn it’s not for kids. Read the rest of this entry »

Who serves who at Yahoo?

October 25th, 2006 by Sarah King

Last year I took a punt on a 4 letter .com domain: nzrh.com and bought it through Yahoo Business. All went well and then as part of a consolidation exercise I moved it, and some other domains to a new registrar.

Domain Registration for nzrh.com

The transfer worked without a hitch so imagine my surprise to be getting the heavy now from Yahoo because they can’t auto renew the domain! Read the rest of this entry »

Setting up Electronic payments for Adsense

August 14th, 2006 by Sarah King

I logged into check my Adsense the other day and saw that New Zealand is on the list of countries which are eligible for electronic payments.

Setup is easy enough, just follow the steps. The only point of confusion might be in the terminology surrounding the account details.

Sort Code is used in the UK to describe the bank and branch information – in the US too I guess. But it’s alien to us kiwis… Read the rest of this entry »

Sunsilk: Glad you’re not Australian!

June 8th, 2006 by Sarah King

Sunsilk have harnessed the power of the chat bot with a range of Wingmen. All very Top Gun, I reckon.

I don’t know if it will catch on with my age group but the kids who love tamagotchis will probably love this. Read the rest of this entry »

Snap Happy with a Shoemoney Shirt

June 4th, 2006 by Sarah King

Some time ago Jeremy Schoemaker sent me some Shoemoney tShirts, they took a very long time to float across the Pacific Ocean, so long in fact that I thought he must have changed his mind :)

So, imagine my surprise when they arrived. I got my Mother to take a photo with amazing Bream Bay as the backdrop but all I got was blue sky and clouds. Humpf. Read the rest of this entry »

More Shoemoney than the man himself!

May 25th, 2006 by Sarah King

Jeremy Schoemaker aka Shoemoney is a hoot. He has a great blog and a series of forums and now he wants his name to be famous (watch for the trademark application ;) ) because our adoration obviously wasn’t enough.

He recently sent me some shirts from his company and I’ll be having a bit of fun with them over the next few months. Watch this space. I would have done it anyway but if he wants to follow up the shirts with cold, hard, cash who am I to stop him!

Christian from SEOPedia is giving it a whirl too.

Who said chicks don’t blog!

May 16th, 2006 by Sarah King

I stumbled across Jack of All Blogs today, in particular Move over boys, we are pimping out the blogosphere. Girls, it’s worth a read! Are we quietly just getting on and doing our thing – or are we being walked over.

Now, I can’t imagine the other SarahK, Summer or Andrea being walked over… nor Cathy Odgers (come back, we miss you!)

Cathy is quoted over at Kea Blog as saying: Read the rest of this entry »
