Did you know that you can dramatically increase the number of visitors that come to your site on a daily basis from Google? And it’s not constantly improving your position in Google search engine result pages (SERPs) for your competitive keywords which can take some time after working on your search engine marketing campaigns.
Every day there are new directories being created and keeping up with them can be quite a trial. If you have a series of sites that you submit then adding them manually can be a bit of a struggle.
Solution: have a generic descriptor file for sites to identify the main sections of the site that might be submitted to a directory.

For all those newbie blog spammers out there that are looking for top blogs to spam, well SearchEngineBlog has a link to the top500 blogs in the world.Proceed with caution as most of these blog will spot a spammer from a mile off.
Google has launched a new type of search called Blog Search (no points for obscurity!). With people using blog software as an alternative to a proper CMS it’ll be interesting to see how Google works out what’s a blog and what’s a site. (more…)
Way back when web pages were all static and javascript was cool I had a play with site submission software tools and found a forum to discuss the relative merits. It was the first time I’d come across the phrase Search Engine Optimisation or SEO and once I had the magic password a wealth of information appeared before me. (more…)
