My slice of paradise
April 12th, 2005 by Sarah KingFunny how you take a different perspective on things and even the locals say – wow, where’s that? Read the rest of this entry »
Watching my directory?
April 11th, 2005 by Sarah KingIf you’re not, then maybe you should be… but only if you’re harvesting real estate or property investment related links
I’ve made an rss feed available of my approved property investment links so that anyone can follow who I’m approving. The good thing here is that I may discover someone you haven’t, and you can then go and ask them for a link – and even follow the chain of the sites they link to.
Let me know if you use it, or if you also publish a feed like this. Hopefully we’ll all benefit from our combined efforts!
Google Maps
April 10th, 2005 by Sarah KingWhat a time waster Google Maps is! Amazing photos though. Auckland and the Coromandel look quite different:
A little bit patriotic…
April 10th, 2005 by Sarah KingWe Kiwis aren’t known for flying the flag with vigour when we’re at home and lately there has been alot of debate about changing it. I for one stand with those supporting the current New Zealand flag. The naysayers will find support at nzflag.com.
I was cruising around looking for decent kiwi blogs tonight and found this: de-generationx.net and what I ‘specially liked was the use of our flag in the bottom right corner.

Link Manager for Link Exchangers
April 10th, 2005 by Sarah KingThe Problem
I visit a site looking for a link exchange and I look at the other links they have and wonder if I can exchange links with those ones too. I visit them and then find that they’re already listed. But I have 127 categories so I have to use the internal search tool and it adds significantly to the time spent building up my links. Read the rest of this entry »
Money Island at Sorted.org.nz
April 9th, 2005 by Sarah KingI’ve just visited Money island which is being promoted heavily on TV at the moment. I’m interested in the whole field of finance education but that’ll be another posting
So, I visited and it’s a kid oriented kind of game. First thing is entering your name, cool. It’s all in flash so I can’t give links to individual games. Read the rest of this entry »
Regulating landlords in NZ
April 7th, 2005 by Sarah KingThis surprises me, I’ve just hooked into the large number of kiwi blogs that exist – led by kiwiblog.co.nz and started looking around for topics of interest. There’s nothing on this on the blogs I’ve visited… Read the rest of this entry »
Directory clean up
April 7th, 2005 by Sarah KingI’ve just written a script and submitted it at Weberdev.com, you can see it at http://www.weberdev.com/get_example-4125.html
After I closed down Botspotter I was a bit pushed for time and didn’t stop the data files being written from PC Property Manager. Out of site, out of mind and all that.
So yesterday when I needed to edit a script and saw the code I commented it out and went to delete the unwanted files – only poor old SmartFTP couldn’t even display the directory. My webhost wouldn’t let Putty in so the only thing to do was to use PHP to ditch the lot.
So, you get stuck, you know where to go…
