Checking out Google Friend Connect
December 18th, 2008 by Sarah KingI missed the launch of Googles foray into social networking tools – they’ve launched a collection of Facebook like tools to be added to your own site giving friends, a wall, rating tools etc. It’s pretty good and I couldn’t get over how quick and easy it was to add it to 5nz.com.
I’ll add it here too, well worth a look since most of the people I know have a google account 
If you do visit 5nz.com or a site that has it enabled, just click on the person’s name and you can see which sites they promote and which sites they have also joined. It’s all javascript so there’s little SEO benefit, but for networking it could be quite the thing.
