H8DCAF
April 23rd, 2005 by Sarah KingI was driving over our harbour bridge the other day when a zappy little red convertible went past. I think it was an old triumph but don’t hold me to that – and H8DCAF was on his personalised number plate.

I’m assuming this guy has a problem with decaf coffee – and it’s such a problem that he wants to advertise it on his car!
When I was younger, much younger, there was a minor trend to get tattoos but I could never decide what I felt sufficiently passionate about that I’d want it imprinted on my body forever. I have scars from surfing and mountain biking and I’ve got them forever!!!
To me, a personalised plate is a bit like a more public but more temporary tattoo. You’re telling the world about the one thing that matters most to you.
And for this guy it’s coffee. Sorry mate, but that’s sad.
