Kiwi Bloggers get organised!

New Zealand — Sarah King

Richard Cresswell appears to be a very organised guy looking for ways to improve the NZ blogging scene.

He’s proposing a concept called the Kiwi Carnival and looking at setting up a site (he’s looking for artwork) just for the results.

Now this could be really interesting, see who is there and what they are saying. The only problem is I don’t know if I could be bothered sending in my favourite piece each week. I already have a feed just for New Zealand and it’d be easy enough to let us submit our NZ focussed feeds and the site could pull off our latest (but not necessarily our best) feeds. It could have a weekly, daily or hourly refresh - just like the forums do.

But any directory of NZ feeds for New Zealanders can’t be a bad thing :) Most of the local sites I’ve found tend to be very political and that’s not necessarily my space - but it is good to see what’s on people’s minds and what I might have missed from the days papers.

  1. The first edition of Kiwi Carnival is out and I made almost top billing.
