Directory Contest twists it up
Posted by Sarah King in Fun and SEO Games
Mike Dammann has launched his own Directory Contest. It’s a twist on the regular SEO contests and it’ll be interesting to see how it pans out.
I’ve got two entries
- RealState for Real Estate has a Directory Contest page
- Property Investment Directory has a Directory Contest page
In both cases the links aren’t visible on the directory homepage and the links are 2 or 3 clicks into the site.

Mike Dammann: Lets rally together to make him a US Citizen
Posted by Sarah King in Other Stuff
SEO entrepeneur Mike Dammann has been noticeable by his absense from the online world this month and apparantly his USA residency papers were not what they should have been [source1] [source2].
Now the first rules of illegal immigrants are
- keep a low profile
- don’t leave the country and try to get back in

BlogParty’s latest Incarnation
Posted by Sarah King in Search Engine Optimisation
Mike Dammann from BlogParty is one of those people with infectious optimism and energy. His blogs are spawned all over the web and I lose track of what, where and why.
BlogParty now seems to be just a blog, with the forum moving back to it’s blogparty.com domain. Lets hope the hosting is more reliable than some of the others used!

So, to try and drum up some attention, he’s offering $250 in a prize draw for bloggers mentioning BlogParty. The only problem is that by blogging about it you’re likely to increase the number of contestants and reduce your chances of being picked. Damn Dammann!

Real Estate Blog
Posted by Sarah King in New Zealand, PHP & Web Development, Search Engine Optimisation
As you travel through life you bump into all sorts of people. The internet is great because it exposes you to a far greater range of people, it’s a shame that you’ll never probably get to meet them. It broadens perspectives and challenges your preconceptions.
So moving on. There’s a chap called Mike aka SiteTutor who puts himself about a bit and he’s set up a real estate blog. I’ve taken a look at his demo and asked him to let me have my own. Not that there’s much point really but I was interested to see what it was.
So, the Pt Chevalier Real Estate blog is up!
